Museums offer unique opportunities for touching the lives of children in their formative years (0–5). Through programs reaching at-risk preschoolers to family-friendly experiences in galleries to teacher training for early childhood specialists, museums bring new experiences with art, objects and collections into the lives of our youngest citizens. Stories from art, history and botanical collections will provide guiding principles and next steps for early learning initiatives.
