This session will consider the work of Cultural Heritage without Borders, an international NGO that works with museums and heritage to support democracy, human rights and peacebuilding. It will present four different approaches of ongoing initiatives in the former Yugoslavia, U.S. and Kenya. Museum professionals from the regions will reflect on the challenges, impact and successes and will discuss the potential and actual role of the international museum community as agents of change for peace.

This session will be simultaneously interpreted in Mandarin and Spanish.
