More than 56 million Americans have disabilities. In conjunction with two AAM accessibility webinars in 2015, this session features stories from museum visitors with low vision, hearing loss, autism and dementia, and how museums have responded. Institutions located in one of the most diverse cities in the world share practices that create inclusion through accessible technology and resources, rethinking policies and programs, overcoming existing physical barriers and building a new facility.
