This workshop will engage content developers and curators to think visually when creating exhibit labels. This method enhances content messages and makes exhibits accessible for a larger audience, including young visitors, non-native English speakers and different types of learners. We will go through some basic tools and strategies for creating visual labels, and then, in small groups, brainstorm and mock-up visual labels from basic content synopses.
